Dark fern - dark leaf and leaf stalk. Often found growing on rocks that warm up in the sun in semi-open conditions, with the roots well-protected by the rocks. Does not mind frost or sun. Pinnae oblong and tapering to a point with sori continuous around the margins, which are minutely toothed. Makes an attractive pot plant or garden feature fern.
