Creeping, slow spreading fem with harsh dark green fronds and long red-brown, bristle-like scales. Prefers damp, free-draining soil, medium shade. Collectors fern.
 
Makes an effective filler/ground cover in a shady spot under other shrubs or trees. Will fill quite a large area and looks great.
