An orchid with dark green grass like leaves that grows as an epiphyte in trees with white sweetly scented flowers January to June. Numerous leafy, unbranched, long persistent, wiry, cane-like stems up to 1.5 m long. Stems erect if short, pendulous otherwise. Very slow growing. For Collectors.
NZ orchids should not be removed from the wild. We propagate these by division of stock plants originally rescued from fallen branches at our property when we lived in Oratia, Auckland.
