A hardy rock-dwelling fem growing to 15 cm tall. Found coastal to montane in dry, rocky habitats with only sparse or no vegetation cover. Frost hardy, Smooth, hairless stipes and pinnae. Full sun or light shade. Best in a pot or rockery. Collectors fern.
